I officially started Vining Events in 2015 because I was ready for the next step. With a degrees in Business and Tourism & Event Management along with a resume full of experience in catering sales, venue event management, registration assistant, and numerous hospitality positions it seemed like the natural progression for an entrepreneur. Every coordinator needs to have organizational skills, the ability to multi task, and the capacity to think on their toes and hold down the fort in stressful situations. I think what might set me apart though is my love of people. Any age and profession, I can talk with them. If someone is stressed or upset, it doesn’t unnerve me. I love collaborating with people and working with a team. I love serving people. At the end of the day, it is the people I enjoy planning events for.
Oh… and the organized chaos of events gets my blood running, my energy pumping, and puts an extra skip in my step. When I’m coordinating an event, you will see the joy sparkle in my eyes, hear the excitement in my voice, and guess what… even after 18 hours on my feet- my smile is genuine!
That is a little bit about my professional experience, now little bit about my personality- I know that is just as important! I am positive, I smile often, I laugh a lot, I work hard, and I always try to do my best. My family is very important to me. I have three boys and a WONDERFUL husband (Clinton- that's him above). We love the outdoors! We stay busy skiing, playing basketball, kickball, playing nerdy board games, taking road trips and camping under the stars. I root for the Packers, I cherish my Jeep Wrangler! I attend the Berthoud United Methodist Church and I will admit my faith hasn’t always been strong. But I’ll tell you- the journey has been amazing. I would love a chance to hear your story!

Hi everyone! My name is Heidi! I am an original Pacific Northwestern gal who left the rain & gloom for 360 glorious days of Colorado sunshine! Prior to my wedding industry introduction I spent a lot of time traveling the U.S and Canada! I graduated with a degree in Public Relations & Marketing from Utah State University and spent my first few years post-graduation split between the beautiful state of Alaska and the tropical paradise Hawaii! When I lived in Hawaii I got an awesome job working for a 5-star catering company. This company would handle all sorts of high-end events and to do this date my favorite is still the 50th Pearl Harbor Remembrance event! This event was so powerful and impactful that it drove my passion for events.
After years of traveling and exploring I decided to move to Colorado and plant some roots. I began working at an all-inclusive wedding venue here in town for 3 years and absolutely loved it. I love all things wedding. From the love of the couple to their family members supporting them to the tiniest details such as menu and place cards.
I joined Vining Events in 2020 to continue my growth in the wedding industry & to continue to share in the couples wedding day! I promise to bring you extreme attention to detail, positive feedback and suggestions, time-sensitive responses and lots of laughs & Starbucks coffee!!
